Scott Haynes practices in the areas of regulatory law, music and entertainment law, intellectual property law and general civil litigation, including securities fraud and other commercial litigation.

Scott is active in civic and community affairs, serving as an intern on the Board of Directors of Buddies of Nashville.  He has served on various fund-raising committees for the Middle Tennessee Counsel of Boy Scouts of America (1990-1992), United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee, Inc. (1990), the American Cancer Society (1990-1993), the American Heart Association (1990-1991) and the Exchange Club Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse (1990-1992).  He is a member of the Nashville Area Junior Chamber of Commerce and served on the Tennessee Leadership Seminar Committee for the Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation.  Scott has also participated in Partnership 2000, an economic and community development for Nashville and Middle Tennessee; the Young Leaders Council, a program established to train individuals to serve on boards of Nashville social agencies; and a member of the Dream Team, a group dedicated to obtaining a major league baseball expansion franchise for Nashville.

Scott is active in state and local politics. He has served as Campaign Manager for Judge Barbara Haynes and Co-Campaign Manager for Juvenile Court Clerk Kenny Norman.  Scott has also been active in numerous campaigns, including the campaigns of Senator Joe Haynes and Congressman Bob Clement.

Scott is a member of the Nashville (Young Lawyers Division), Tennessee (Young Lawyers Conference and Litigation Section) and American (Sections on: General Practice and Litigation) Bar Associations.  He is also a member of The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, Harry Phillips American Inn of Court and Who's Who in American Law .
