Bob Hannon assists clients in a variety of commercial finance, commercial real estate, corporate and commercial law matters. Bob's primary focus is representing lenders in all types of commercial loan transactions including syndications, participations, real estate development and construction loans, real estate acquisition loans, asset based loans, floor plan loans, airplane loans, loans to nonprofit institutions, and municipal finance, along with workouts of any of the foregoing.
Bob also assists lenders with corporate and regulatory matters and has experience with bank formations and mergers and acquisitions. Representative clients include Avenue Bank, CapStar Bank, First Bank, Regions Bank and Wells Fargo Bank, National Association.
Prior to joining Boult Cummings, Bob practiced at the law firm of Stites & Harbison PLLC. Before attending law school, he was an elementary school teacher with the Washington, D.C. public schools through Teach for America. Bob has served on the board of McNeilly Center for Children, Middle Tennessee's largest early childhood education provider, for ten years in the capacities of board chair, vice-chair, secretary and chair of its annual fundraising event. Additionally, Bob represented McNeilly in its merger with Nashville Child Center.
Bob received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in May 1998, where he was an editor with the Vanderbilt Law Review . Bob earned his undergraduate degree in English with a minor in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University in 1993.
