Rachel Coleman focuses her practice on regulatory, reimbursement and general practice matters for clients in the health care industry. In the regulatory area, Rachel advises hospitals, health care facilities and institutional review boards on clinical research matters. She also advises health care entities, individual physicians and small practices on compliance and contracting matters, including the review and negotiation of managed care contracts.
Rachel graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee School of Law, where she completed a concentration in business transactions and served as a Research Editor on the Tennessee Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Rachel worked as a Health Information Analyst at Vanderbilt University's Eskind Biomedical Library and also as an Assistant in Vanderbilt's Division of Pediatric Cardiology.
Rachel is actively involved in the Young Lawyers Division of the Nashville Bar Association and is also a member of the American Health Lawyer's Association. She has participated as a speaker in the Tennessee Bar Association's Annual Health Law Forum and has authored and co-authored several articles for health law publications.
