Jack Thompson is a member of the Health Care practice where he focuses on a wide range of regulatory, operational and transactional issues, including acquisitions of health care entities and a variety of hospital, physician and health care facility issues.  Jack also is listed as a General Civil Mediator under the Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31. He has mediated several small claims cases in Knox County, Tennessee.

Jack earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, cum laude, in 2005. He received a Masters of Public Administration from The George Washington University in 2002 where he was recognized with the Public Administration Honor Award and the Master of Public Administration Award. Before entering law school, Jack served on the legislative staff in the offices of U.S. Senators Judd Gregg and Fred Thompson. Jack earned his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude , in political science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Jack is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. In May 2008, Jack was elected to serve as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Nashville-based McNeilly Center for Children for 2008-09.
