Jon represents clients in business transactions.  His primary focus is on advising companies in the health care industry in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, securities and corporate finance matters, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and syndications.

Jon's recent experience includes work with several national hospital systems in both the acute care industry and the behavioral care industry, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers, cancer centers, and home health and hospice agencies.  He also advises clients on Hart-Scott-Rodino matters and related pre-merger antitrust issues.

Jon earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2000.  He earned his M.B.A. in 2000 and his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude , in 1995 from the University of Kentucky.

Jon is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Tennessee and is the former chair of the Corporate and Commercial Practice Committee of the Nashville Bar Association.  He is also a member of the Tennessee, Kentucky and American Bar Associations and is a member of Leadership Health Care and the American Health Lawyers Association.  Nightingale's Healthcare News recently named Jon as one of 15 "Outstanding Young Healthcare Lawyers" for 2005.
