David Taylor is a commercial litigator, with an emphasis on construction and real estate dispute resolution.  David has a national construction practice, and represents all participants in the construction industry.  He also has a national "neutrals" practice as an arbitrator or mediator, and has served as a neutral on more than 300 occasions.  He is a national trainer for the American Arbitration Association, and has lectured (locally and nationally) more than 100 times at trial advocacy, ADR, construction, landlord/tenant and real estate seminars. 

David founded and served as the 2007-08 Chair of the Tennessee Bar Association's Dispute Resolution Section, and is currently serving as the 2008-2009 Section Chair for the Tennessee Bar Association's Construction Law section.  He was a past member of the Tennessee Bar Association's Lien Law Committee, the Tennessee Supreme Court ADR Commission, and serves on many nonprofit boards.  David is also responsible for coordinating the firm's Pro Bono program and activities.

David is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® 2009  for his construction law and alternative dispute resolution practices and the Nashville Business Journal’s  "Best of the Bar" for construction (2006) and litigation (2007).  He is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee and American (Member, Arbitration and Construction Law Forum) Bar Associations, as well as the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel. 

David has been married for more than 20 years to Debra and has two daughters, English (University of Virginia) and Eliza (The Harpeth Hall School). He founded and serves as the head of the "Dad's Network" for the Harpeth Hall school, as well as legal counsel for the Select Volleyball Club.
