Training
Upon joining the firm, Associates become a member of one of the following four primary sections: Business; Health Care; Real Estate and Finance; or Litigation. Each section meets regularly to discuss various legal issues pertinent to its area of practice. Most individual training is provided by the Section Leaders and other attorneys within the section.
Most importantly, all new attorneys participate in the firm's Professional Development Program (PDP). This customized program is an ongoing effort by the Administration, Associates, Members and Board of Governors of Boult Cummings to provide an opportunity for new attorneys to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful and productive attorney. The program is designed to help new attorneys become familiar with the firm's structure and operations and also develop the substantive knowledge base necessary to contribute to the work on each respective practice section.
