Bob Wood has been with Boult Cummings since 1983. He is a member of the firm's Board of Governors and has served as the firm's Managing Director. Bob is also a Team Leader for the Real Estate Finance Practice Team in the firm's Real Estate Section.
He is primarily involved in commercial real estate and commercial lending transactions. In addition, he is involved in the representation of other corporate and commercial clients, including clients involved in the manufacturing, communications, entertainment and construction industries.
Bob's real estate-related practice involves the representation of institutional lenders, real estate developers and investors in real estate finance, acquisition and development transactions. Bob also represents a number of title insurance companies and is involved in commercial lease negotiations, representing both landlords and tenants. He has represented a number of commercial and residential owners associations. Bob has lectured frequently on real estate law and title insurance matters.
He is an active member of the community, serving in a variety of organizations. Bob is president of the David Lipscomb University Business Leadership Council and serves on the university's Board of Trustees. He is also on the Board of Elders for Harpeth Hills Church of Christ and serves on the Board of Directors for Rocketown, Inc., a nonprofit organization. He is an Associate Member of the American Land Title Association, a member of the Tennessee Land Title Association, and a Fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys.
Bob is a member of the Nashville (Real Estate Subcommittee), Tennessee and American (Title Insurance Subcommittee and Business Law) Bar Associations. Bob is included in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business 2008 for his real estate practice, The Best Lawyers in America® 2008 for real estate law, Mid-South Super Lawyers 2008 for real estate, and the Nashville Business Journal’s 2006 Best of the Bar.
