Ann Peldo Cargile is a member in the Nashville, Tennessee law firm of Boult, Cummings, Conners & Berry, PLC. Ms. Cargile is a frequent speaker on real estate related topics to national, regional and local groups, including both attorneys and non-attorneys in real estate related fields. Ms. Cargile also authored the “Real Estate Leases, Generally” and “Condominiums and Planned Developments” chapters of West Publishing’s Tennessee Practice (2001). Ms. Cargile is an author of several chapters in The Sublease and Assignment Deskbook published by the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law (2006).
Ms. Cargile received her B.A., with high distinction, in 1982 from the University of Virginia, where as an undergraduate she was a National Merit Scholar and an Echols Scholar and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and the Raven Society. Ms. Cargile also received her J.D. in 1986 from the University of Virginia, where as a law student she was an Armour Law Scholar, a member of the Virginia Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif.
Ms. Cargile is a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, where she is a member of the Insurance Committee. She also is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association; Nashville Bar Association; International Council of Shopping Centers (Law Conference Committee); Commercial Real Estate Women; and Former Chair of the Board of Equalization of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.
Ms. Cargile has been named to the Editorial Board of the Real Estate Law & Industry Report, published byBNA and the Board of Editors of The Retail Law Strategist, published by The International Council of Shopping Centers.
Ms. Cargile has been selected to be included in The Best Lawyers in America® 2008, and in Chambers’ 2003 through2008 editions of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business as one of the top Leading Individual Attorneys for Real Estate in Tennessee. She also has been named as one of the 2008 “150 Best Lawyers" by Business Tennessee magazine and was included in Mid-South Super Lawyers 2008 for her real estate practice.
